"Tik Tok on the clock, but the party don't stop."

If by party you mean the year, then this party just started - especially for Ke$ha. This 22- year old pop singer began her road to fame singing with rap artist, Flo Rida in his single, "Right Round." While most people had not heard of Ke$ha at that time, everyone is now dancing to her single top single, "Tik Tok." From the lyrics in her song, many people make her out to be just another club-hopping pop star, but there she is so much more than this stereotype.
Ke$ha grew up in Tennessee and loves to go back home to spend time with her family. When she was in high school, she was always reading and attending extra classes for fun.

["I love learning," the singer told People Magazine in "Five Things You Don't Know About Ke$ha," on Jan 27.]

This star is an animal - she loves the outdoors. Ke$ha enjoys rock climbing, scuba diving, camping, and watching animal documentaries.

"I even went to the Amazon to see jaguars," she told People.

Maybe that is a clue to how she named her debut album, Animal, which was released Jan 5.
Animal went straight to number one in the United States and landed a spot at number seven for Billboard Top 200.

Although it came out too late for 2010 Grammy consideration, the young star, along with Justin Beiber, presented the Best New Artist award with high hopes for the 2011 Grammys.

"Perhaps, maybe next year, maybe I'll be up for it," she told MTV regarding next year's Grammys. Animal has a total of twelve tracks, including her next single, "Blah Blah Blah" featuring alternative band, 3OH3!
For 2010, Ke$ha has performed at the Pre-Grammy bash and she is already scheduled to play at Bamboozle May 1 and 2 in New Jersey. Ke$ha's "Blah Blah Blah" is already number seven on Billboard Singles Top 100. More great things are expected to come from this new artist.
