Professor Nada Khader entered the Pace University world in just one year ago in January 2009, teaching the history of the Middle East as part of the Political Science department in the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences.

Outside of Pace, Khader is the Executive Director of the Westchester People's Action Coalition (WESPAC) Foundation, a title she has held since May 2001.

The official WESPAC website cites that she is accountable for managing "all the day-to-day operations of the non-profit organization that has served the Westchester Community since 1974."

According to Khader, WESPAC is a multi-issue justice organization with many people from many backgrounds with events hosting foreign speakers and forums.

"[WESPAC is] a peace and justice educational and justice network," Khader remarked. "We have different committees: environmental, middle east justice, and a racial justice committee."

Their office space in White Plains holds music concerts and exhibits artwork with a social justice theme. Currently their theme is 'food issues'; the exhibit will last until Feb 7 and is located in the 2nd floor at 255 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in White Plains.

Khader has been invited to numerous events due to her work representing the progressive community, such as the Socialist Scholars Conference, the "Color of War" Conference at Manhattanville College, the "Orange Alert" Conference at Sarah Lawrence College, the Lower Hudson Valley People's Assembly, the Mount Vernon Islamic Center, and finally the Interfaith Council Women's Luncheon.

She is acknowledged for her work promoting peace and justice by the American Muslim Women's Association and was invited to the German School of New York to provide the Commencement Address back in June 2004.

About 11 years ago, Khader worked with the United Nations Development Program in the Gaza Strip as a consultant, helping the press office of the Palestinian government translate text into English and help develop a public relations strategy.
