Speak Out: The First Semester
Issue date: 1/28/09 Section: Opinion
How did you like your first semester at Pace? What do you look forward to this new semester?
-Victoria Reisch, freshman
"My first semester was great, lots of work, but good. I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather. I can't wait for spring break. I know the rest of the year is going to be so much fun!"
-Emmanuel Ramirez, freshman
"My first semester at Pace University was, to say the least, completely efficacious. The eye opening experience of living on campus opened a whole new world of opportunities, including my own development of a professional network. I am certain the spring semester will bring with it an immeasurable amount of knowledge and wisdom."
-Olivia Sanborn, freshman
"All in all, my first semester at Pace was a great time for me. I got to live away from home for the first time, met a lot of new people, and took classes that I was interested in. Pace University opened new doors for me for the future, and I am excited for my next three years here!"
-Elias Maus, freshman
"I had a rough start entering my first semester at Pace because I was in a car accident during my Pace cross country training week. So I ended up missing the first month of school. But I adjusted well. Everyone here is very welcoming. I want to give a shout out to my HILLSIDE FAMILY! I look forward to running Track this spring semester."
