Ever need reassurance as to whether you're sober enough to be behind the wheel? Well you're in luck. There is now a breathalyzer/FM receiver on the market, aptly called iBreath, which skillfully combines sobriety testing and your top 40 Countdown of the day in a sleekly designed attachment.
A potential life-saver, this iPod accessory is said to be "The best iPod Accessory Ever" by Gizmodo.com and is designed to let you know you know whether or not you've had too much to drink.
If you're a little short of throwing up in nearby bushes and are in doubt as to your level of drunkenness, you can know for sure in just a few seconds.
How it works is you hit the enter key, and after a ten second wait, you are made to blow into the retractable spout for ten additional seconds. Moments later you will know your exact blood alcohol content.
Hit the mode key and your breathalyzer doubles as an FM transmitter, sending signals to a receiving speaker box. You are allowed to lock your device to prevent unauthorized usage and may use it as a timer between tests.
The iBreath boasts style and innovation but at a steep price, this device will set you back $79 when ordered directly from the manufacturer.
However, the manufacturer argues it is a small price to pay as "it can potentially save you thousands of dollars in legal fees and jail time".
The package includes the breathalyzer itself, USB cable and 12v car plug for charging and does not require batteries. The device may be used with iPods and the iPhone. Purchases may be made at www.davidsteele.com.
