However, this may not always be so at UConn, which recently completed its first year of gender-neutral housing. The students participated in a pilot program that allowed male and female students to live together in Garrigus Suites, formerly Hilltop Suites.

A rape was reported involving two 17-year-old high school students on Penn's campus, according to Philadelphia police.
The rape was reported to have occurred in a dorm on the 3700 block of Spruce Street at about 6:20 p.m. on July 23.
According to Capt. John Darby of the Special Vitims Unit, the two students knew each other and have both given statements to the police.

When officers approached the group of people, who were attending a conference and staying inside the residence hall, they told the officers they were drinking outside because they were told they could not drink inside.
